An old fashioned diamond cut that looks like a rounded square, most commonly found in antique jewellery. The most common diamond cut during the 18th and 19th century, the original old mine cuts were created by rubbing one diamond against another to form the facets. It typically has a small table, large culet, high crown and very thin girdle.
