Baroque (pearl)

‘Baroque’ refers to any pearls with a non-spherical, or irregular shape. Within the category there are several sub-categories, including baroque, which refers to an elongated spherical pearl, popular in Art Nouveau and Victorian designs. Also under the wider baroque pearl category are – coin pearls, cross pearls, egg pearls, heart pearls, keshi pearls, leaf pearls, potato pearls, rice pearls, stick pearls, teardrop pearls, twin pearls.
