Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if its the right service for me?
If you want to find out if it is the right service for you you can request a call to discuss your project. We specialise in working with clients who are looking for unique, design-led jewellery and will only take on projects we can deliver on.
How do you select the jewellers you work with?
We travel the world visiting trade fairs and private ateliers seeking out the very best jewellers worldwide. Jewellers have to be invited to be part of our network and are chosen for their quality, craftsmanship and originality. Above all they have to have a distinctive style which means if we were to see one of their pieces in isolation, we would recognise it was by them.
What does it cost to work with you?
If you wish to engage with our service, we require you to pay a deposit of £250. Should you make a purchase through us, this fee will be deducted off the final price of your purchase meaning you pay the same price for the piece of jewellery that you would if you were to go to the jeweller directly.
How do you find the right bespoke jeweller for me?
We match jewellers to you based on your preferences. Making personal introductions, we help you choose the jeweller whose aesthetic and approach suit you perfectly. If we don’t have the perfect match in our roster, we’ll find new designers to bring on board. And we’ll keep going if we don’t get it right the first time.
What does the fee cover?
The fee lets us know you are committed to finding the perfect piece of jewellery and allows us to spend time determining your brief, tendering your project out to jewellers and accompanying you to meetings where appropriate.
How can I view the jewellery you suggest?
Once we have some options that fit your brief, we will send images and information to your inbox. If you are based in London, we can arrange for you to see a piece in person should you wish.
Do you take a commission for the sale?
Our business is based on referrals meaning that we receive a commission on any purchase you make. Every jeweller we partner with agrees to the same terms ensuring our focus is on finding you the piece of jewellery that is best suited to you.
Do I have to be based in the UK to use your services?
We don’t let geography get in the way. Most of the jewellers in our network ship internationally and are happy to work with their bespoke clients remotely and we are too if that feels like the right solution for you.
Is there a minimum budget I have to spend to use your services?
We specialise in sourcing fine jewellery which means we can work with budgets of £2000 upwards with the exception of bespoke projects which start from £7000.
How long does the bespoke process take?
The making of a bespoke piece of jewellery typically takes 8-12 weeks from initial meeting to delivery of the piece. If you are planning ahead we suggest getting in touch 3-4 months ahead of your proposal date.
I don't know what I am looking for. Can you still help me?
Don't worry if you don't have any idea what it is you are looking for, whether you are buying for yourself or for someone else it is our job to determine this. We’ll ask you a few easy-to-answer questions that will help us to clarify your brief.
I am limited on time. How quickly can you find me the perfect piece?
