Statement earring have been making a huge come-back thanks to designers such Holly Fulton and Antonio Berardi both of who paired them with high necklines and slicked back hair for their AW12 shows.  Named as one of our top trends on Grazia Daily  earlier this year we were pleased to see the women of London and New York rocking this chic and ultimately feminine look.

But this season it’s less about gold and all about colour. Choose semi-precious gemstones like these Peipers & Kojen earrings (above) worn by Jane Keltner, (editor of Teenage Vogue) or these deep red hematite tassel earrings by Mawi (below) spotted at Somerset House in London yesterday.

Also amongst our favourites are these Janis by Janis Savitt  skull and cross bone earrings seen modelled below by the designer herself outside the Diane Von Furstenberg show in New York. We couldn’t resist running after her when we saw the rainbow coloured crystal hanging below.
